Last week the twenty-member United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space met with the IAU Centre for the Protection of the Dark and Quiet Sky from Satellite Constellation Interference and has agreed to form a subcommittee that will meet annually to safeguard space as we add more objects to low orbit.
