Boulder City, NV Will Act as Pilot for Nevada Dark Sky Project

The state’s Division of Outdoor Recreation has partnered with the city council to experiment with light pollution reduction. The state will provide a $2 million grant to update 2,560 municipally-owned light fixtures, while the city council update ordinances for privately-owned fixtures.
